A couple of generations later, her Grandchildren control the Shea Moisture product line. The business sells personnel care bath products that are famous for their effectiveness.

What do Dandruff, Eczema and Psoriasis all have in Common?
The answer is dandruff flakes. But why does dandruff, eczema and psoriasis manifest in the first place? They all come to be for many reasons. Deficiency and toxicity from horrible eating habits is the number one reason. Weather temperature, not exercising, or hurtful chemicals from faucet water and harmful ingredients from other products can be another reason. To learn more about this topic click here.
People know that scalp psoriasis, eczema and dandruff are not the same but generally have the same symptoms. Scalp Psoriasis usually starts to flake after forming on lesion patches. Scalp Eczema can flake when skin is dry, inflamed, and even normal.
Although Scalp Psoriasis and Scalp Eczema are known as long term ailments, they both can flake like regular dandruff. Regular dandruff appears and disappears and can be considered a short term disorder.
All three disorders are different, but all three disorders can share the same final symptom, which is dandruff flakes. For the sake of this review, we will refer to all three disorders by their final symptom: dandruff.
Does Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque Control Dandruff?
Dandruff can be prevented but can it also be controlled?
Multiple testimonies confirm that Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque does control dandruff but not completely. I have used Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque for quite some time in the days when I had Scalp Psoriasis. And I can personally tell you that Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque decreases the amount of dandruff flakes substantially but it will not completely remove ALL the flakes. A small percentage of dandruff will remain, but a high percentage of dandruff will be cleared.
The answer is yes. Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque can control dandruff.
The dandruff that is left behind is made up by an itch-free, soothed and detoxified scalp.

I have a friend that has been dealing with psoriasis for a number of years. I will be telling her about your review.
I do like that one of the ingredients in the Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Mask has Plantain. Do you know that the plantain plant has been used by Aboriginal people for hundreds of years to treat skin wounds and infections? It is a natural antibiotic.
Anyways, thanks for a great product review and I am going to pass it on.
Hey Ramona, I did not know that interesting fact. Skin wounds and infections…that is good to know.
And yes please tell your friend, I want to help as many people as I can. Tell her to read these three articles, one, two, and three, it will remedy her psoriasis naturally. =)
Thank you for the compliment, the pass on, and the interesting fact.
I have always had an issue with dry scalp. My favorite natural remedy is tea tree shampoo, but I definitely want to try shea moisture now. I especially love that it’s natural and cruelty free.
Hello Jaime, I have tried tea tree shampoo too, I like the way it smells. Shea Moisture Shampoo and Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque both have tee tree oil so it may help with your dry scalp. And yes the fact that it’s cruelty free is very important. I once saw a video clip of a beauty supply company using a bunny rabbits eyes to test chemicals. Since then I always scout out products that have the cruelty free symbol on the bottle. Here’s the links if you want to order these items off Amazon. Shea Moisture African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo and Shea Moisture African Black Soap Dandruff Control Hair Masque.
I do not have dry scalp myself, but I have a family member who does and is diagnosed with Psoriasis. I will send this to her, so that she can read this wonderful review on Shea Moisture African Black Soap Dandruff Control Hair Masque.
That is nice of you to do for a family member Bobbi, I’m sure they really appreciate it. Thanks for the comment.
I have had problems with dandruff my whole life. This article is quite an eye opener. Reading down through some the ingredients was quite a contrast when you compare it to most dry scalp products. BTW, what is pyrithione zinc?
I know right! It opened my eyes too for sure. Most dandruff products have dozens of weird ingredients, but not Shea products. Zinc is an element on the periodic table. It can be very beneficial for humans. It helps with many functions including sex performance and hair growth.
“Pyrithione Zinc is a coordination complex of zinc. It has fungistatic and bacteriostatic (inhibits bacterial cell division) properties and is used in the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis.”
That’s what I got from google. Thanx for the comment. =)
I am always on the hunt for all-natural hair products, since I have very sensitive skin and can’t tolerate phlalates and parabens and sulfates. But I’ve never heard of this one. Shea butter is a fantastic moisturizer, but it’s cool to see how it can fight dandruff when paired with other awesome ingredients including Rosemary extract, which is all-around beneficial for scalp circulation and health.
Yes this is true. Rosemary extract is great for the scalp, it promotes circulation which in turn helps follicles grow hair. It smells nice too.
They should really put a ban on phlalates, parabens and sulfates in hair products because they seem to be doing more harm then good.
Thanks for the comment
Very informative, I have a friend who could benefit from this =)
Thank you for the comment, tell your friend, they would really benefit from this for sure. =)
I’ve had trouble with eczema many times growing up. I’ve found a great way to not make it go away for good, but to keep it at bay, is by staying hydrated and choosing the correct soap. Oftentimes it is the cheap soap that strips your body of protective oils, which allows the eczema to come back. Get the more expensive soap instead. It helps a lot.
Hello Brandon, thank you very much for the comment. Yes, sometimes cheap products can initiate bad things to happen to our skin. Therefore it is best to use quality soaps over cheap ones.
I have yet to do a review on African Black Soap even though I have used it for my skin in the past when I used to have psoriasis. I recommend using it over other soaps especially if you have skin problems like psoriasis or eczema. Click this link for African Black Soap and it will take you to Amazon if you want to purchase it.
Also, read these three articles, one, two, and three, it will help with your eczema problem and may even cure it. =)
Looks great. I struggle with dry skin on my head, is this going to work even though I do have hair? Like, is this all coming out again?
Thanks for your feedback
Hair or no hair, Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque will help you control your bothersome dandruff period. Even though it is great for the hair, it’s main purpose is to calm the skin and detox the scalp thus controlling dandruff. Follow this link if you want it.
Thanx for stopping by =)
I have the worst scalp there is. I keep my hair cut off because just a little growth causes me problems. Maybe this can help my scalp be able to have at least a 1/4 inch of hair. I think I heard of this product before but I just gave up and started cutting my hair off. It still sounds like a good product to just keep a healthy scalp though. You think that it will?
Dear Ronnie, Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque will HELP CONTROL dandruff. If you really want a healthy scalp, you have to change not what you use on your body, but also what you put into your body as well.
Our bodies act up when we give it too much of what it doesn’t need, and don’t give it enough of what it does need.
Toxicity and deficiency.
Read these three articles and get your scalp and hair back once and for all. One, two, and three.
To answer your question, Shea Moisture Dandruff Control Hair Masque will help control the symptom of dandruff but it won’t solve the problem. Read the links above. Seriously. People would kill for a set of hair, which should be a good reason for you to get your scalp back and not to chop it off.
Thanks for stopping by. =)
I didn’t know that all these skin conditions were related or could be treated with similar products. I for one, love Shea Butter! It’s the best stuff on earth for where I live in winter and my skin gets completely dried out just washing my hands repeatedly throughout the day. I also have some mild excema, but Shea Butter seems to protect and heal that part of my skin more than other moisturizers. Plus, Shea butter like the one you’ve shown here, usually has lots of other natural ingredients in it which are great for skin health. Thanks for sharing – I’ve definitely learned something here!
Thanks for the comment
I took the time to read your profile, and I’m glad I did. I think it adds a powerful perspective to your posts about psoriasis because it comes from a place of experience.
As for your suggestions on how jogging can cure psoriasis, let me just add this observation which many doctors want people to know about psoriasis:
The average psoriasis patient is 7 pounds overweight.
Exercise may also make psoriasis medication work better, and psoriasis treatment tends to not work as well in overweight people as they do in people within the normal body mass index range.
What are your thoughts about exercise making psoriasis medication work better?
Hello Thabo, thanx for the comment and reading my About Drake Brooks section…yes without experience I wouldn’t have made this website. Through out this website, I recommended many things a person can do to CURE his psoriasis naturally.
I am aware about what you said about “the average psoriasis patient is 7 pounds overweight.” I wrote in my Do List that, according to research, a high percentage of psoriasis patients have an excess amount of fatty tissue in their skin.
As for your proposal about “exercise may also make psoriasis medication work better.” you may be right. However, i lost my psoriasis without using any type of prescribed medications. I did it naturally as the title of my website displays. The only ointment or cream I used was Zen Fusion a natural herbal formula that is safe for even babies. I wrote about it, in my Do list too.
As you can probably tell in my About Drake Brooks page, I have lost a lot of respect and trust in doctors, the medical system, and the medications they prescribe. Thats why in this website I encourage and show those that are interested that the disorder can be cured naturally without harmful immunosuppressant medications. This is the way I did it.
It can be done naturally and with nothing but natural items and the power of will. Read these three articles and you will see the light. One, Two, and Three. People don’t have to suffer for the rest of there lives anymore.
Again thanx for the comment.
