Foods That Reduce Inflammation – All About Spinach

When I was young, Popeye the Sailor Man was still on basic cable. And it seemed like every episode, Popeye would get into a fight with a bully named Bluto the Terrible, cool name right? Reflecting his name, Bluto was indeed terrible because he always terrorized Popeye and harassed Popeye’s girlfriend Olive Oyl. For the most part, Popeye would win the fight after if he ate his secret stash of spinach. But why spinach? In this article, we’ll discuss spinach, the secrets of spinach, and why it’s one of the many foods that reduce inflammation.

Spinach Origins

It is believed that spinach originates from the edible wild plant called Spinacia Tetranda. Spinacia Tetranda is still gathered in multiple eastern country’s today. Known as a flowering plant of the Amaranthaceae family, spinach can be considered one of it’s popular members.

Early Persian writings indicate that spinach was present in civilization as far back as the Post-Antiquity era and earlier. It was also known to be popular in many other countries including ancient China.

Contrary to what their colleagues suggest. Some historians believe that spinach was abundant in ancient China before it’s abundancy in the Mediterranean. Likewise, spinach was largely cultivated in Persia far before ever being present in China.

What’s All the Hype about Mediterranean Food?

The country’s that surround the Mediterranean Sea are known for their healthy foods. Some of these country’s include.

– Spain

– France

– Italy

– Malta

– Turkey

– Greece

– Cyprus

– Egypt

– Israel

– Syria

– Armenia

The Mediterranean diet for example, which is extremely nutritious, is one of the healthiest diet plans to follow. But why is this?

The reason Mediterranean food gets a lot of hype is because Mediterranean meal plans consists of foods packed with nutrients, natural nitrates, and unsaturated fats. All of which are exceptionally beneficial, especially when combined.

Spinach is very common in the Mediterranean diet as well as many other leafy green vegetables, nuts, fruits, fish, and healthy oils.

One of the Many Foods That Reduce Inflammation is Spinach

Spinach reduces inflammation because it contains anti-inflammatory compounds such as multi-vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids and phytonutrients. All of whichfoods-that-reduce-inflammation-spinach-leaf drastically reduces inflammation.

Remember, Inflammation is necessary for basic immune functions of the body. Inflammation is needed to heal wounds, injury’s or infections. It battles foreign invaders and cleans damaged tissue. It activates when needed then deactivates when done. This is called acute Inflammation.

But sometimes inflammation gets out of control and attacks itself.. This usually happens when to much inflammatory foods have been consumed, as well as neglection of exercise,  stressful living, and lack of proper sleep. This is called chronic inflammation.

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in Spinach

B vitamins inside spinach regulate inflammation. In light of this, B6 and B9 are all components that are also added to anti-inflammatory drugs. These medications are prescribed by doctors to treat inflammatory diseases.

So by eating spinach in the first place, vitamins B6 and B9 are all naturally absorbed and therefore anti-inflammation benefits are reaped.

E vitamin inside spinach regulates inflammation because of it’s antioxidant qualities. Antioxidants protect your cells from free radicals and reduce inflammation at the same time.

As a conjunction, vitamin E works extremely well with vitamin C present. The two compliment each others presence, thus reducing inflammation even more by amplifying each others effects. Vitamin C is present in spinach, making spinach a power house super food.

C vitamin. Talking about one of the best vitamins in the world. Vitamin C can do multiple wonders. Countering inflammation is but one of them. Mainly, vitamin C act’s as an electron doner.

The vitamin C found in spinach can not only prevent illness, but it can also reverse illness too. This works because vitamin C donates electrons to free radicals. foods-that-reduce-inflammation-spinach

But why donate electrons to the enemy? Because, by giving electrons to the free radicals, they receive all they can carry, this hinders them from stealing electrons from other sources.

So as a bonus, vitamin C reverses illness. It does this by repairing oxidative damage caused by free radicles. Free radicals can cause major inflammation issues, but Vitamin C not only prevents but it reverses.

A Vitamin. Are you kidding me? The A vitamin is present in spinach too? Yes it is. If you were to get your A vitamin from any source, spinach would be a good choice.

Adelle Davis, a 1960’s Nutritionist, explained that the inflammatory disease psoriasis and eczema are caused by a vitamin deficiency and a “faulty utilization of fat.”. She recommends, lecithin and the vitamins A, B, C, and E.

Other sources state that vitamin A can counter a multiple inflammatory diseases. This includes inflammation of the joints, organs, and skin.

It is suggested that Vitamin A deficiency may even cause inflammation.

K Vitamin. While discussing the multivitamin super-food spinach. Vitamin K is also a big contributor.

Not only does vitamin K allow the coagulation of blood which prevents excessive bleeding. But researches state that vitamins k1 which is found in leafy greens like spinach, and k2 which is usually synthesized by gut micro-flora, both have anti-inflammatory qualities.

While observing data from over 1000 participants in a vitamin K experiment. The case study showed that in association with Vitamin K1, a decrease in inflammation took place.

Spinach Fights for You

Spinach doesn’t just fight Inflammation, it fights other disorders too. Here’s a list of ailments that spinach works against.

– Psoriasis

– Eczemafoods-that-reduce-inflammation-spinach-drawing

– Diabetes

– Heart Disease

– Heart Attacks

– Stroke

– Hypertension

– Alzheimer’s

– Cancer

– Asthma

Why Does Popeye Get Strong After Eating Spinach?

Because spinach has steroids. I’m not kidding. There is a rare component to spinach which few plants posses. It’s called phytoecdysteroids. It’s a natural occurring steroid found only in certain plants.

The phytoecdysteroids in spinach can raise protein synthesis by 20%, therefore increasing human strength substantially.

So when Popeye opened up a can of spinach to beat up Bluto, he was literally opening up a can of steroids. He was “opening up a can of whoop ass.”

Foods That Can Reduce Inflammation – All About Onions

Onions are Foods That Can Reduce Inflammation bitmoji

I love onions. Some people can’t stand them. But if you like them or not. Onions can be considered one of the miracle foods that can reduce inflammation.Onions are Foods That Can Reduce Inflammation bitmoji

Inflammation is one of the body’s immune functions. We need inflammation to heal wounds at the molecular level and at the regular level. This is called acute Inflammation and it’s good.

Sometimes inflammation can get out of control when we eat to many inflammatory foods. This dilemma can actually work against the healing purpose and it can start to cause massive damage instead. This is called chronic inflammation and it’s considered very bad.

Foods with processed sugar and loads of saturated fat can activate the body’s inflammatory response and keep it active indefinitely. This is considered an overactive immune system. An overactive immune system or chronic inflammation, can lead to many inflammatory diseases like psoriasis, eczema, arthritis, and hundreds of other diseases and problems.

Onion Origins

Used by many ancient cultures. Onions have been used medicinally by the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Asians, and dozens of other cultures. From burying onions with their dead; and from eating, drinking and rubbing onions all over their skin when they were alive. Ancient cultures knew that onions were foods that can reduce inflammation.

Ancient understood benefits include.Egyptians use onions

– Antiseptic Qualities

– Diuretic Qualities

– Digestion Health

– Heart Health

– Joint Health

– Vision Qualities

– Anti-Inflammation Qualities

Onions are Foods that Can Reduce Inflammation

Experts say that red, purple or yellow onions are richer in nutrients than their white colored cousins. But don’t be prejudice. All onions work wonders for the body. But Yellow, purple and red onions just happen to work a little better.

There are plenty of natural foods that have anti-inflammatory qualities. This is due to the presence quercetin inside of them. Onions are one of them.

Onions have antioxidant phytonutrients that reduce inflammation in the body by using compounds like anthocyanin and quercetin to regulate levels of histamines, leukotrines and prostaglandins. All of which are associated with inflammation.

Considered a flavonoid antioxidant, quercetin keeps inflammation at bay by fighting free radical damage.

Other Quercetin Foods That Can Reduce Inflammation

– Blue Berries

– Kale

– Green Tea

– Beans

– Olive Oil

– Asparagus

– Capers

– Cranberries

– Cabbage

– Spinach

– Black Berries

– Cherries

– Apples

Onions, Onions, Everywhere, and Not a Bite to Eat

Onions are present in many types of recipes. They can add an explosion of flavor or just a slightly needed alteration of taste. Want some zazz to your boring salad? Pop some onions in it. Tired of the same recipe? Sprinkle some diced onions in it.

Onions can benefit almost any recipe. By adding a few table spoons to the cooking process, it can change a well cooked meal’s taste level from “eh,” to “oh yeah” in a heart beat. Some recipes actually require onions in it because the taste drastically depends on it.

Fresh Onions vs. Cooked Onions

Fruits and vegetables are considered more nutrient rich in the raw state vs. the cooked state. This is also true with onions. Though benefits are still present after cooking onions, eating them raw as opposed to cooking them is ideal.

There are many recipes that contain fresh onions. A simple salad is one of them. Get your onion fix in regularly by eating the occasional salad.

*Note: For those with psoriasis or major inflammation issues. It is best not to add counter-productive ingredients to your salad. Such as night-shades, croutons, dairy, or commercial dressings.

Olive oil and a splash of apple cider vinegar is the best way to benefit from a salad. Scope my Don’t List for avoiding Inflammatory foods.

Modern Benefits from Onions

Yes ancient cultures had unique ways of utilizing onions. Some onion uses we may not fully understand yet. For example, Egyptians not only ate onions, they buried them with their dead. Dozens of archaeological digs display onions in the hands, between the feet, on the chest, and even over the eye sockets. We don’t practice this anymore. Many funeral attendees probably would scoff at the notion of putting onions on top of anybody dead or alive.

Another example is the Greeks. In Greece, during popular competitions. Athletes would utilize onions by spreading onion juice on their skin. They would drink the juice and eat them raw like apples.

Today, some athletes just drink Powerade before the big game. A controversial practice because Powerade is known to have more negative attributes than positive ones.

There are hundreds of benefits from onions that are presently known in today’s world. I will name a few.

Here is a list of modern benefits from onions.

How to Cure Psoriasis With Carrots – Natural Remedies

How to cure psoriasis with carrots bulk

If you are reading this, you’re probably wondering how to cure psoriasis in general. And less likely, how to cure psoriasis with carrots. The answer is simple enough. Eating inflammatory food can inflame the body and therefore the skin. Substitute inflammatory food for anti-inflammatory food and you are on the right track to helping your cause.

How To Cure Psoriasis with Carrots

For those that wanted to know how to cure psoriasis with carrots and clicked on this website with the thought of just rubbing carrot juice on the skin, sorry to break the news but that definitely wont work. Thankfully carrots do play a major part in curing the skin disorder psoriasis but unfortunately not in the topical sense but in the edible sense.

Note: make sure to keep your own sense in tact because psoriasis can be very stressful. Stress can be very counter productive when fighting psoriasis. So eating carrots like Bugz Bunny may be in vein.

By not being able to lose a nasty appearing skin problem you can understand the stress and desperation that comes with the territory.

Psoriasis brings desperation. Desperate people may feel like they have nothing to lose. People have tried rubbing the strangest things on their skin with the hopes of alleviation.

For example sufferers have tried banana peels to mud off the ground. Kim Kardashian herself, has even rubbed breast milk on her psoriasis lesions.

A healthy diet consisting of fresh or steamed carrots, portioned appropriately, and eaten throughout the week can put psoriasis in check.

How to cure psoriasis with carrots bulk

Some medications prescribed by doctors consists of tar. Yes tar! Tar for the roads? Yes! It’s the same smelly tar from the street. I’m not kidding. Made to treat psoriasis and prescribed by dermatologists mostly everywhere. It does not cure psoriasis.

In fact, nothing will cure psoriasis by topical application. The reason for this is, psoriasis is an internal problem with an external symptom. To get rid of the external symptom you have to get rid of the internal problem which is toxicity and deficiency.

“So if I eat carrots? That will rid my psoriasis?” Yes, but those carrot are gonna need some help.

Quick Lesson on Health

What most people would consider healthy or unhealthy food is highly under-rated. What does it really mean to be healthy or unhealthy? A symptom in the open? If we look deeper this is not always the case. Symptoms don’t usually appear right away. Disease manifests subtly overtime mostly by simply eating and not eating certain foods.

Certain foods are considered bad for a reason. They hold little to no nutritional value and are loaded with bad elements that promote the presence of overwhelming amounts of free radicals.

Eating too much toxins and inflammatory foods is toxicity. These toxic foods take up about 90% of the grocery store. They are every where and should be avoided, especially in the time of healing. Read my Don’t List on what foods to avoid.

Not eating what the body requires to thrive such as vitamins and nutrients is deficiency.

Both toxicity and deficiency combined overtime is a recipe for disaster skin soup. Psoriasis

Deficiency is also the problem. Deficiency is not eating enough nutrients the body so desperately needs.

Are you still wondering how to cure psoriasis with carrots? To better specify the answer. In order to cure your psoriasis by eating carrots, you have to eat them often and without eating counterproductive foods. Furthermore, you have to practice this life style for several months to almost a whole year.

If you are serious about ditching the annoying skin disease psoriasis and want to have clear skin again follow the links below. Remember, I used to have psoriasis, I get the misery and frustration it can bring. But don’t worry. I will teach you how to get your beautiful skin back. Carrots are a big part of the game changer. Simple as that.

Carrot Benefits

  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Can Cure Psoriasis
  • Counter Dry Skin
  • Reduces Stress
  • Prevents Cancer
  • Reduces Heart Diseases
  • Antioxidant
  • Fiber
  • Vitamins
  • Minerals
  • Proteins

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in Carrots

A Vitamin. Carrots contain small amounts of vitamin A. Trace amounts that are still very beneficial. The immune system utilizes vitamin A and helps keep it from overacting and causing inflammation. It does this by protecting against free radicals.

B vitamins inside carrots can regulate inflammation.

B6 vitamin is an ingredient that is also placed into anti-inflammatory drug capsules. These drugs are issued by doctors to control inflammatory diseases.

B1 vitamin aka thiamine which is also found in beans and liver has been known to cause nerve inflammation if deficient. So luckily it’s present in B vitamin complex.

B2 Vitamin according to PubMed, the US National Library of Medicine Riboflavin or B2 vitamin “deficiency induces a pathological pro-inflammatory response.”

B4 Vitamin, according to Vegan Health.org states that over 310mg of B4 aka choline displays “lower markers of inflammation.” B4 has the highest presence in the carrot among the B vitamins.

B3 Vitamin aka Niacin promotes skin and digestive health which is very relevant when dealing with psoriasis. It also counters dementia, cholesterol,  atherosclerosis, heart issues, ect.

Live Science sites the University of Maryland Medical Center. “Severe niacin deficiency can cause inflamed or flakey skin.”

B5 or pantothenic acid, promotes healthy skin and hair as well good digestion and the creation of cells. B5 is anti-inflammatory and is excellent for keeping the immune system healthy.

C vitamin is the most awesome vitamin in the world. Subjectively speaking of course but seriously. Vitamin C can preform miracles. Halting inflammation is one of them. This is because vitamin C act’s as an electron gift giver.

The vitamin C found in carrots can not only slow illness, but it can also turn illness around 180 degrees. This works because vitamin C gives plenty of electrons to where they are needed and that includes giving some to the life sucking free radicals.

But why surrender electrons to the enemy? Because, by giving electrons to free radicals, they receive all they can carry. This encumbers the free radicals and discourages them from stealing electrons from other sources from your body.

So as a excellent perk, vitamin C counters illness. It does this by fixing oxidative damage. Damage where free radicals are to blame. Free radicals can cause devastating inflammation issues, but Vitamin C not only prevent it… it can reverse inflammation too.

E vitamin inside carrots controls inflammation because of it’s antioxidant attributes. Antioxidants guard cells from free radicals and decrease inflammation simultaneously.

Vitamin E  and vitamin C can be considered good friends because they get along when they are both present. The two complement each other, thus reducing inflammation by increasing each others attributes. Vitamin C and E are both present in carrots making it a powerful vegetable.

Minerals vs. Vitamins

One of the main differences between vitamins and minerals is vitamins are organic. And minerals are inorganic.

Because vitamins are organic they originate from plants and animals. Minerals are inorganic solids and originate from soil or earth but are obtained through plants and animals. Both are natural occurring.

Vitamins can also be broken down further from their existing chemical compound. Heat, acid, air and the reaction to other compounds make the chemical break down possible. Edible minerals can’t be broken down any further because they exist as an element (simplest form of substance) and not a compound (combination of two or more elements in a well ordered, natural occurring chemical structure). Essential minerals are basically a handful of raw elements on the periodic table. Also known as dietary minerals or dietary elements.

Just like some vitamins, some dietary minerals are ideal in just trace amounts of consumption. And similar to some vitamins some minerals are more beneficial if consumed in a more generous amount.

Another similarity some dietary minerals share with vitamins is the ability to be stored in the human body.

minerals-fight-inflammation

Dietary Minerals Present in Carrots Counter Inflammation

  • Manganese – Reduces inflammation as an antioxidant.
  • Zinc – Immune and digestive health.
  • Iron – Trace amounts are good. Deficiency = inflammation.
  • Magnesium- Abundance is good. Deficiency = inflammation.
  • Calcium – Battles obesity. Fatty cells common with psoriasis.
  • Phosphorus – Filters waste and toxins.
  • Sodium – Trace amounts needed for fluid balance.
  • Potassium – Flushes excessive sodium reducing inflammation.

What We learned

Carrots fight psoriasis which is inflammation of the skin. A humble or moderate portion of raw and steamed carrots should be implemented in meal plans weekly.

That is how to cure psoriasis with carrots.

Is Celery Good For Inflammation – Remedy Psoriasis Naturally

Is Celery Good For Inflammation

Is celery good for inflammation? Is Celery Good For Inflammation

People with inflammatory problems ask me all the time. Is celery good for inflammation? The answer is definitely yes. Celery has many healing properties but the fact that it can reduce inflammation is a huge bonus. Celery is good for inflammation for several reasons. Here are some reasons below.

Alkalinity: Celery’s pH balance is alkaline. Alkaline foods are highly beneficial for anyone with inflammation. Eating too much foods that are acidic can cause inflammation.

People around the world, Americans especially eat too much acidic meals thus causing inflammatory problems. Inflammation can appear anywhere throughout the body, especially the skin. By substituting acidic foods with alkaline foods, healing should start to manifest. And inflammation should start to go away.

Psoralens: Found in many vegetables, psoralens are a UV absorbent. Meaning that it can assists the body is absorbing sunlight. Yes to much sunlight is bad, but not enough sunlight is worse. Our bodies need sunlight for many reasons including vitamin D. We get a lot of vitamin D from the sunlight, more so than from cow milk. Vitamin D helps with calcium adsorption, which we all know calcium is needed for our bones and all our organs. Our skin being the largest organ would avail the most.

Staying too long in the sun can be hazardous. Therefore we can only tolerate small amounts of the sunlight at a time. Psoralens allows the body to utilize UV absorbency efficiently. So the little time we do invest under the sun, the absorbancy rate is optimal and not lost in vain. Psoralens increase skin absorbency.

Scientists place psoralens in different medicines. These medicines are sometimes used to treat skin disorders like eczema and psoriasis. But by eating plenty of psoralen contained foods, you begin to address the inflammation problem directly and without the pharmaceutical middle man.

High Fiber: The fiber present in celery is ideal for the body. This high fiber factor means that it can reduce high cholesterol. High amounts of cholesterol are found in patients with inflammation. By reducing cholesterol you reduce inflammation.

Medications are not always needed to remove cholesterol. Sometimes eating a plentiful amount of green vegetables is enough to lower cholesterol levels back to normal and therefore reducing inflammation all together

Reduction of Anxiety: Stress and anxiety are big causes of many skin ailments including psoriasis. Psoriasis is another form inflammation. By eating plenty of celery, you can actually reverse the feelings of anxiety therefore countering inflammation.

A long time ago, I used to have the inflammatory condition psoriasis. With time, research, and experience. I have removed all the inflammations from my body. My psoriasis in no more. I have cured my psoriasis problem and therefore I solved my inflammation dilemma.

By eating a lot of alkaline foods and snacking on plenty of celery, my skin issues have gone away. But not just snack. I eat celery for breakfast and lunch every now and then. Sometimes I eat celery for my side dish during dinner time too.

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in Celery

A Vitamin. Celery contains a decent amount of vitamin A. This small amount is still very beneficial. The immune system utilizes vitamin A and helps keep it from overacting and causing inflammation. It does this by protecting against free radicals.

C vitamin is a wonderful vitamin because it gives electrons.

The vitamin C found in celery is not as abundant as in some fruits but it’s presence can still slow illness. Vitamin C gives plenty of electrons to where they are needed and that includes giving some to free radicals.

But why give electrons to the enemy? Because by giving electrons to free radicals, their hands become full.  Thus it encumbers and discourages them from stealing electrons from other places in the body.

Vitamin C also counters illness by fixing oxidative damage. Damage where free radicals are the culprit. Free radicals can cause devastating inflammation issues. Vitamin C not only prevents it… it can reverse inflammation too.

B Vitamin inside celery is good for inflammation.

B9 vitamin AKA Folate is water-soluble and is found is most leafy green vegetables. It helps with the metabolic processes, adrenal functions, and maintaining a healthy nervous system.

It also helps with body development, growth, as well as promoting  healthy nerve and proper cognitive functions.

Besides fighting cancer and memory decline. Vitamin B9 Folate reverses inflammation that includes skin inflammation aka psoriasis.

And as a bonus we will look at why asparagus makes our urine smell.

Asparagus Origins

Writings show that asparagus has been around for thousands of years. Cultivated and wild variations of asparagus have been served on the plates of the Egyptians, Africans, Romans, and Greeks.

The Greeks knew asparagus was an aphrodisiac and ate it to perform better. They also used it for diarrhea and urethra complications.

You may wonder that since asparagus is a diuretic (which increases urine), how can it possibly help with diarrhea (watery bowel movements)? This is because asparagus is a laxative which helps with constipation and diarrhea. Asparagus also contains asparagines which promotes urination. The two can coexist with each other harmonically.

Asparagus is also considered a Mediterranean food too!

Why Hype about Mediterranean Food?

A good reason to get excited about the Mediterranean menu is because it contains foods that reduce inflammation naturally. All the country’s that boarder the Mediterranean Sea are well known for their healthy entree’s. Here is a few country’s that surround the Mediterranean.

– Armenia

– Syria

– Israel

– Egypt

– France

The Mediterranean diet is extremely nutritious. It is one of the healthiest diet plans to undergo. But why?

The reason Mediterranean food gets a lot of attention is because Mediterranean meals consists of foods packed with, vitamins, nutrients, natural nitrates, and unsaturated fats. All are extremely beneficial, especially when combined.

Asparagus is a common Mediterranean food as well, just like many other healthy foods like leafy green vegetables, fish, fruits, nuts, and olive oil.

InflammationFoods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturally-Asparagus

Asparagus fights inflammation naturally because it contains anti-inflammatory compounds such as multi-vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids and phytonutrients.

It must be understood that Inflammation is an important immune function carried out in the
body. Inflammation is crucial to heal injury’s, wounds and fight infections. It stops foreign invaders and cleans damages in the body. It turns on when
needed then turns off when finished. This is called acute Inflammation.

Sometimes inflammation gets out of hand and fights itself.
This usually happens when too much inflammatory foods are being digested,
as well as not exercising enough, stress, and not getting decent hours of sleep. This is called chronic inflammation.

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in Asparagus

A Vitamin. Get your A vitamin
from asparagus because it contains generous amounts.
Adelle Davis, a 1960’s Nutritionist, explains that the inflammatory
disease psoriasis and eczema are caused by A vitamin deficiency and a
“faulty utilization of fat.” In her writings, she stresses that lecithin and the vitamins
A, B, C, and E are very important. Deficiency’s in any vitamin can cause inflammation.
Dozens of sources state that A vitamin can reverse
inflammatory diseases. This includes inflammation of the skin, organs,
and joints.

B vitamins inside asparagus regulate inflammations. B6 is an ingredient that is also placed into anti-inflammatory drug capsules. These drugs are issued by doctors to control inflammatory diseases.

So by munching asparagus regularly, vitamin B6 is naturally utilized and therefore anti-inflammation benefits are gained.

C vitamin is the best vitamin in the world. Subjectively speaking of course but for good reason. Vitamin C can do multiple miracles. Stopping inflammation in its tracks is one of them. This is because vitamin C act’s as an electron gift giver.

The vitamin C found in asparagus can not only block illness, but it can also turn illness around. This works because vitamin C gives plenty of electrons to free Asparagus-is-one-the-Foods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturallyradicals.

But why surrender electrons to the enemy? Because, by giving electrons to free radicals, they receive all they can carry. This encumbers the free radicals and discourages them from stealing electrons from other sources.

So as a wonderful perk, vitamin C reverses disease. It does this by fixing oxidative damage. Damage where free radicals are to blame. Free radicals can cause devastating inflammation issues, but Vitamin C not only prevents but it reverses inflammation.

E vitamin inside asparagus controls inflammation because of it’s antioxidant qualities. Antioxidants protect cells from free radicals and decrease inflammation simultaneously.

Vitamin E also works well with vitamin C. The two complement each other, thus reducing inflammation by increasing each others attributes. Vitamin C and E are both present in asparagus, making it an ultimate vegetable.

K Vitamin. Vitamin K is also a great helper when it comes to fighting inflammation. Vitamin K allows the coagulation of blood which prevents over bleeding. Researches write that vitamins k which is found in asparagus, spinach, romaine lettuce and other vegetables have anti-inflammatory qualities.

While observing data from over 1000 individuals, a research project showed that in association with Vitamin K, a decrease in inflammation took place.

Why Does Asparagus Make Our Urine Smell?Asparagus-is-one-the-Foods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturally-bitmoji

By now you know that asparagus is one of the many foods that fight inflammation naturally. But why does it make our urine smell?

It makes our urine smell because it contains sulfur. The sulfur found in asparagus has amino acids. The amino acids are broken down via digestion. This cycle is what gives our urine that distinct smell, similar to compounds found in skunks.

You know how dogs love to mark their territory? Feed your dog a small amount of asparagus and plenty of water. Take him or her for a walk in a few hours and watch them have a blast leaving their scent on their favorite pody spots.

Asparagus Fights Disease

Asparagus doesn’t just work against inflammation, it works against other problems too. Here are some diseases that asparagus fights naturally.

– Psoriasis

– Eczema

– Cancer

– Dementia

– Heart Disease

– Stroke

– Alzheimer’s Disease

– Depression

– Pregnancy Issues

How Often Should You Eat Asparagus

The average serving of asparagus is five asparagus sticks or spears. However, because asparagus is a nutritious vegetable, many people eat more then one serving. Eating more than one serving of asparagus may give the eater more of a fighting chance against inflammation.

The nutritionist Laura Flores said that “There are no life threatening side effects of eating too much asparagus.”

If you have an asparagus allergy you may break out in hives or have trouble breathing. Swelling around the lips is also a tell of an allergic reaction.

Foods That Reduce Inflammation Naturally – All About Romaine Lettuce

Foods-That-Reduce-Inflammation-Naturally-all-about-romaine-lettuce-close-up

If I had to choose between romaine lettuce and iceberg lettuce. I would choose romaine lettuce. Not just because it’s one of the foods that reduce inflammation naturally but because it has several times more nutrients than iceberg lettuce.

Romaine Lettuce Originsfertility-god-Min

Romaine lettuce has several names. Here in America we call it Romaine lettuce because supposedly it reached western country’s by the way of Rome.
Romaine lettuce is also referred to as Cos Lettuce. This is because some historians trace Romaine lettuce back to the Greek Island of Kos.

In ancient Egypt, Romaine lettuce was considered an aphrodisiac. According to Sarah Griffiths, who wrote The Land Where Lettuce was a Sex Symbol. She mentions that egyptologist Salima Ikram says that Romaine lettuce is “Min’s favorite food.” Min is the God of Fertility. And the reason he can perform so well is because of Romaine lettuce.

One of the Many Foods That Reduce Inflammation Naturally is Romaine Lettuce

Romaine lettuce reduces inflammation naturally because it contains anti-inflammatory compounds such as multi-vitamins, minerals, and omega 3 fatty acids.

Remember, Inflammation is important for basic immune functions. Inflammation is required to heal wounds, injury’s and infections. It works against foreign invaders and cleans damages in the body. It activates when
needed then deactivates when finished. This is called acute Inflammation.

But sometimes inflammation attacks itself. This usually happens when an abundant amount of inflammatory foods have been consumed,
as well as not exercising, stress, and lack of deep sleep. This is called chronic inflammation.

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in Romaine Lettuce

B vitamins inside Romaine lettuce regulate inflammation. In
light of this, B6 and B9 are all ingredients that are also placed into
anti-inflammatory medications. These medications are prescribed by physicians to control inflammatory conditions.

So by consuming Romaine lettuce on a regular basis, vitamins B6 and B9 are all
naturally absorbed and therefore anti-inflammation perks are received.

Vitamins B1, B5, and B7 are also present in Romaine lettuce.

C vitamin. Discussing one of the best vitamins on the planet. Vitamin C can do multiple miracles. Fighting inflammationFoods-That-Reduce-Inflammation-Naturally-all-about-romaine-lettuce
is one of them. First and foremost, vitamin C act’s as an electron doner.

The vitamin C found in Romaine lettuce can not only ward away illness, but it can also overturn present illness too. This works because vitamin C donates electrons to free radicals.

But why give electrons to the culprit? Because, by giving electrons
to the free radicals, they receive all they can carry, this hinders them
from taking electrons from other places.

So as a premium, vitamin C reverses sickness. It does this by fixing
oxidative damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals can cause massive
inflammation issues, but Vitamin C not only wards but it counters illness too.

A Vitamin. The A-Vitamin is exists in Romaine lettuce too. Romaine lettuce is a good leafy green vegetable to get your vitamin A from because most places will more than likely carry romaine lettuce. It is one of those vegetables that are always in stock.
The 1960’s Nutritionist Adelle Davis, explained that the inflammatory
diseases like psoriasis and eczema are caused by vitamin deficiencies and a
“faulty utilization of fat.” She proposes consuming lecithin and the vitamins
A, B, C, and E.

Multiple sources mention that vitamin A can reverse many
inflammatory illnesses. This includes inflammation of the organs, joints,
and skin.

It is implied that a Vitamin A deficiency may even cause inflammation.

K Vitamin. Talking about the multivitamin leafy green vegetable called Romaine lettuce. Did you know that vitamin K is also existent in Romaine lettuce and is considered a big contributor too.

Not only does vitamin K allow the coagulation of blood which prevents
extreme bleeding. But scholars stress that vitamins k1 which is
found in leafy greens like spinach and Romaine lettuce, and k2 which is usually synthesized
by gut micro-flora, both have anti-inflammatory benefits.

While studying data from over 1000 individuals in a vitamin K science
experiment. The study concluded that in association with Vitamin K1, a decline in inflammation was evident.

How do you Romaine?

Sure you can just go into a grocery store and purchase some Romaine lettuce for a couple of bucks but did you know that when you go out to eat. Most establishments actually carry romaine lettuce but won’t serve it to you unless you request it.

I know this because when I used to work at the Olive Garden, they would only serve Iceberg lettuce. They only serve romaine lettuce upon request because Iceberg lettuce is cheaper than Romaine lettuce.
All you have to do is request it. This trick works in other restaurant chains as well.

Foods That fight Inflammation Naturally – All About Kale

Foods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturally-Kale-chips

There is a lot of talk going around that kale should be portioned properly, that it should be eaten in small quantities, and that too much kale is actually bad for

Silence! I Kale You!

you. There is also debate that kale should always be cooked. Even though kale is one of the many foods that fight inflammation naturally, let it be known that precautions should be considered with kale.

Kale Origins

The history of kale can go back as far as we can dig. Rome, Scotland, Russia and Italy, have ancient writings with the mentioning of kale.
Besides just eating it, the Greeks boiled kale and used it as a get sober quick remedy. Kind of like the “wake up juice in Back to the Future part III. Minus all the theatrics.

One of the Many Foods That Fight Inflammation Naturally is Kale

Kale is one of the foods that fights inflammation naturally because it contains
anti-inflammatory compounds such as vitamins, minerals, and omega 3
fatty acids.

Don’t forget that Inflammation is an important immune response.
Inflammation is mandatory for the body to operate. It heals wounds, manages injury’s, and fights infections. It goes to war with foreign invaders like germs and bacteria, and it cleans microscopic damages in our system. It
activates when
necessary than deactivates when its done working. This is referred to as acute Inflammation.

Why does inflammation fight itself? This usually happens when
a large amount of inflammatory foods have been eaten. It also happens when you’re not staying in shape, when you’re stressing out, and when you’re not sleeping right. This is referred as chronic inflammation.

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in KaleFoods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturally-All-About-Kale

A Vitamin. Kale is a good leafy green vegetable to get you’re
vitamin A from because you only need a small hand full. It is one of those vegetables that is real rich in A vitamin.
The 1960’s Nutritionist Adelle Davis, writes that the inflammatory
diseases like psoriasis and eczema are caused by vitamin deficiencies and a
“faulty utilization of fat.” She supports the idea of consuming lecithin and other vitamins like vitamins
A, B, C, and E.

Multiple sources mention that vitamin A can reverse many
inflammatory illnesses. Especially inflammation of the organs, joints,
and skin.

Vitamin A deficiency may even cause inflammation.

K Vitamin. Not only does vitamin K allow the coagulation of blood which prevents
extreme bleeding. But experts stress that vitamins k1 (which is
found in leafy greens like spinach, Romaine lettuce, and kale), and k2 (which is usually synthesized
by gut micro-flora), are both anti-inflammatory components.

While studying data from over 1000 people in a vitamin K nutrition
experiment; the study concluded that in association with Vitamin K1, a decline in inflammation manifested

C Vitamin. Vitamin C can do things of dreams. Minimizing inflammation is is one of them.
Vitamin C act’s as an electron doner.

The vitamin C present in Kale can not only prevent ailments, but it can also dissolve sickness too. This happens
because vitamin C donates electrons to free radicals.

But why give electrons to the problem? Because, by giving electrons
to the free radicals, free radicals handle all they can carry, this stops them
from taking electrons from other places.

I like to think of vitamin C as a hostage negotiator. Except this particular negotiator always gives the bad guys more than what they want beforehand. Give them Foods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturally-All-About-Kale-leavesmore than they need, so when they leave they can’t carry anything else.
So as a massive plus, vitamin C can turn disease around. It does this by fixing
oxidative damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals can cause a plethora of
inflammation issues, but Vitamin C not only blocks but it also counters inflammation too.

B vitamins inside Kale regulates inflammation. In
light of this, B6 is an ingredient that is also placed into
anti-inflammatory pills. These medications are prescribed by hospitals to control inflammatory conditions.

So by eating Kale regularly, vitamins B6 is
naturally absorbed and therefore anti-inflammation is received.

Who’s Talking Smack about Kale?

Kale has a lot of fiber. As a matter of fact, some say kale actually has too much fiber for its own good.

Fiber is needed to help process food through the digestive track. Fiber works as a non digesting buffer, escorting and lending aid. The problem with kale that some people are stressing about is that the fiber it contains is insoluble. Meaning it can’t dissolve.

According to the forewarners, too much insoluble fiber is bad for the digestive system. This is because the digestive track has hard dealings with indigestible items. Sometimes food items will take forever to pass through the gut and might actually hang around for a while causing problems like gas and bloating.

This kale problem can be solved by simply cooking it. Like some raw food items; raw kale can contain too much goitrogen compounds and when eaten in abundance, it can cause hypothyroidism. Again, this negative about kale is deactivated after the kale is heated or cooked.

Kale is a vitamin rich leafy green that is excellent for any anti-inflammation diet plan. One shouldn’t be discouraged because its an insoluble fiber. By cooking kale you gain all its benefits and none of its concerns.

Kale is a food that fights inflammation naturally. It is still worth eating despite the bad publicity. So if you’re going to eat raw kale occasionally its still okay, just don’t over do it. Remember it’s rich in nutrients already, so all you need is a small handful. This will ensure plenty of nutrients and less insoluble fiber.

Kale Fights DiseaseFoods-That-fight-Inflammation-Naturally-Kale-chips

Kale doesn’t just battle Inflammation, it goes to war with other

diseases too. I wrote some disorders that kale can counter.

– Psoriasis

– Eczema

– Cancer

– Diabetes

– Heart Disease

– Hypertension

How to Cure Psoriasis – With Cucumbers

How to Cure Psoriasis With Cucumbers for lunch

How to Cure Psoriasis With Cucumbers

Whether cucumbers are fruits or vegetables I really don’t care, as long as it gives me beautiful skin. It can be any made up gender it wants to be.

Cucumbers can cure psoriasis because of three main attributes. One, the vitamins that are plentiful within cucumbers. Two, cucumbers are highly alkaline and do well to adjust the body’s acidity levels. Three, the minerals in cucumbers can reduce skin inflammation by large margins.

Quick Recap

To better understand the psoriasis problem I recommend you also read the popular material on this website.

I could break down the fundamentals right here on this page. I could tell you once again all about the inflammatory skin disorder psoriasis. Or you could just click the links here or here, and we all win. But for clarity sake. I will repeat these important points.

  • Raymond Francis, M. Sc. – who wrote, Never Be Sick Again. Never be sick again book cover cure psoriasis“There is only one disease,” and that one disease is called “Malfunctioning Cells. Cells only malfunction for two reasons: Toxicity and Deficiency.”
  • John Pagano, D. C. – who wrote, Healing Psoriasis. Psoriasis is considered the “leaky gut syndrome, the workload for the kidneys and liver becomes so great that the body has to eliminate waste through the skin.”

All cells, white blood cells, red blood cells, and even skin cells require extremely high nutritional intake to operate properly. If the body’s systems are not functioning at their highest potentials, then there is definitely room for disruptive error.

When the human body errors, multiple immune systems within the body operate much harder, compensating for the lack of nutrients.

The mechanics of these immune systems also work vigorously reacting to off the chart toxins. Noticeable, symptoms on the skin occur in proof of this.

All in all, the problem and the solution with psoriasis can be summed up in two powerful terms.

  1. Toxicity: Too much toxin intake.
  2. Deficiency: Not enough nutritional intake.

If you want to know how to cure psoriasis it is simple. Give the body what it needs or it will malfunction. Stop giving the body what it doesn’t need or it will malfunction. This goes for many diseases and disorders.

Medical jargon for “symptom” is indication of disease present. Symptoms are indicators of important skirmishes going on in the body. These battles consist of white blood cells and body mechanics vs. bacteria, viruses, toxins, and many other contaminants foreign to the human body. The display of symptoms indicates malfunctioning activity in and outside of the body.

What is Inflammation?

Acute inflammation or short term inflammation is considered good because it is activated when the body is damaged or imperil, such as an injury, fever, or infection.

Acute inflammation serves to terminate and eradicate bacteria, toxins, and other foreign objects when it is needed, and deactivates when it is no longer required. Hence, its name, “acute”inflammation, it arrives, it performs its task and is gone as quick as it came. Like a samurai.

Chronic inflammation or long term inflammation is considered a bad sign because it’s a symptom of something amiss. Red and bothersome, it likes to hang around like a soar thumb with no purpose or indication of ever leaving.

It attacks the body’s own tissue and doesn’t turn off or go away. Chronic inflammation continues to be activated because something within the body is keeping it activated. All types of mechanisms, mechanical or biological, if left operational for long periods of time, it may cause devastating problems eventually.

The Anti-Inflammatory Vitamins in Cucumbers

A Vitamin. Cucumbers contain small amounts of vitamin A. Tiny amounts that are still very beneficial. The immune system uses vitamin A for many functions. One utilization is it helps keep the body from overacting with excessive inflammation. It does this by fighting against free radicals.

C vitamin protects the body from damage as an antioxidant. It does this by donating electrons that neutralize free radicals. This in turn reduces plasma levels of inflammatory mediators thus reducing body inflammation all together.

We know that chronic inflammation is terrible for the body. And as stated in my book, How to Remedy Psoriasis Naturally, we know that toxicity, such as excessive free radicals, as well as nutrient deficiency instigates inflammation.

Huge overloads of free radicals can cause major oxidative damage and devastating inflammation issues. Luckily, vitamin C counters free radicals and can even fix oxidative damage.

K vitamin, exclusively known for it’s key role in helping with blood clot formation. It’s special ability helps to prevent bleeding in excess. But it also reduces inflammatory markers. The latter benefits us more in this case.

Two kinds of K vitamin in particular.

K1: Green or leafy vegetables such as kale, cabbage and spinach.

K2: Liver meat or eggs.

Cucumber Alkalinity

Cucumbers are very alkalitic, which is good news for anyone wanting to know how to cure psoriasis.

If you read my section on Dr. Paganos 80/20 rule. You will understand that a diet that is at least 80% alkaline, and humbly 20% acidic, will get your skin back.

Most people with psoriasis have a pH balance of too much acid. This means they eat an abundance of acid forming foods. Over indulging in meat and various junk foods causes extreme acidity in the blood stream. The aftermath of eating too much acidic foods can cause heart problems, organ problems, and skin problems such as skin inflammation AKA psoriasis.

So as a golden rule for eating extremely healthy meals for the purpose of learning then knowing how to cure psoriasis. It is ideal to eat a 80/20 balanced diet. Eating a fresh cucumber or two during a meal is an excellent side dish or even main dish. This is how to cure psoriasis folks.

Minerals vs. Vitamins

One of the main differences between minerals and vitamins is vitamins are organic. And minerals are inorganic.

Because vitamins are organic they originate from animals and plants. Minerals are inorganic solids and originate from atmosphere, soil or earth but are obtained through the plant and animal kingdoms. Both are naturally occurring.

Vitamins can also be broken down further from their existing chemical compound. Air, acid, heat and the reaction to other compounds make the chemical break down possible. Some edible minerals can’t be broken down any further because they exist as an element (simplest form of substance) and not a compound (combination of two or more elements in a well ordered, natural occurring chemical structure).

Essential minerals are basically a handful of raw elements on the periodic table or their compounds connected with each other. Also known as dietary minerals or dietary elements. Some elements bond with each other such as Carbon with Hydrogen or oxygen ect. We catbolize these elements after consumption.

Just like some vitamins, some dietary minerals are ideal in just trace amounts of digestion. And similar to some vitamins, some minerals are more beneficial if consumed in a more generous amount.

Another similarity several dietary minerals share with vitamins is the ability to be stored in the human body.

Minerals in Cucumbers vs. Inflammation

Keeping the body hydrated at 95 percent water.  Cucumbers still pack a lot of vitamins and a lot of minerals.

  • Manganese – Reduces inflammation as an antioxidant.
  • Magnesium- Abundance is good. Deficiency = inflammation.
  • Potassium – Flushes excessive sodium reducing inflammation.
  • Iron – Trace amounts are good. Deficiency = inflammation.
  • Sodium – Trace amounts needed for fluid balance.
  • Calcium – Fights obesity. Fatty cell common with psoriasis.

Final Wrap

The cucumber is a terrific anti-oxidant and is perfect for healing the skin, just in case you were wondering how to cure psoriasis. Eat plenty of them.

Just remember not to eat any counteractive ingredients which I discuss on my “Don’t List.” It is also imperative that you follow the “Do List.” Because let’s face it, just eating the healthy cucumber here and there is not gonna cut it folks. Give the body what else it needs because it needs a lot.

Don’t forget folks, I used to have psoriasis and eating cucumbers a few times How to Cure Psoriasis With Cucumbers for luncha week as a side dish for lunch or dinner along with the do’s and do not’s of other things was my routine until I eventually cured my psoriasis naturally.

Eating a couple here and there, I would have to sometimes peel them first because some suppliers put wax on the skin to keep them looking fresh and appealing. Even though the skin contains high amounts of fiber and vitamins. The wax could cause problems in the long run.

You can remove the wax by soaking them in apple cider vinegar for a few minutes and then rinse off the cider under cold running water or just leave the cider on.  If it has wax then this is my preferred technique.

Or just peal most of the skin off. Eat some or leave some.

So peeled or not peeled, you can eat them whole or sliced. No need to add any seasoning because they taste delicious as is.Homade cucumber recipe for psoriasis

Eating plenty of cucumbers reduces acidity and inflammation because of the nutrients it carries as mentioned in my lists and book.

Now you know to buy plenty of this delicious food from the produce section and try to eat them through out your week. They are usually sold at descent prices. I live in south Texas and cucumbers are sold here at HEB or Walmart for three for one dollar. What a steal! That’s way cheaper than prescription medicine.

Did you enjoy reading about this easy and natural psoriasis remedy that is the cucumber. Do you know how to cure psoriasis with cucumber now? Feel free to tell me in the comment section.
